When Am I Charged for My Booking?

We do not charge you at the time of the booking request. Payment is only collected once the vehicle owner accepts your request.
Payment timeline
- 1You submit a booking request — no charge yet.
- 2The owner accepts (usually within a few hours) — payment is collected automatically.
- 3You receive a payment confirmation email.
- 4If the owner declines or does not respond within 24 hours, no charge is made.
Pre-authorisation
For card payments, a temporary hold may appear on your statement at the time of request. This is a pre-authorisation, not a charge, and it is released automatically if the booking is not confirmed.
