A security deposit is collected at the time of booking confirmation. It is held — not spent — and returned after your rental ends.
What it covers
The deposit protects the vehicle owner against accidental damage, excessive dirt requiring deep cleaning, fuel shortfall, or late returns beyond the grace period.
How much is it?
The deposit amount varies by vehicle and is shown clearly on the vehicle detail page before you book. Typical amounts range from NPR 5,000 to NPR 25,000.
When is it returned?
The deposit is released within 7 business days of vehicle return, provided no damage is reported. If damage is found, the repair cost is deducted and the remainder is returned.
