We use the information we collect to: create and manage your account; process bookings and payments; verify your identity (KYC) before your first rental; send booking confirmations, receipts, and support messages; personalise vehicle recommendations and search results; improve our platform through analytics; comply with legal obligations under Nepal law (Motor Vehicles and Transport Management Act, 2049 and related regulations); and prevent fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and ensure safety.

With Vehicle Owners

When you confirm a booking, we share your name, phone number, verified driver status, and pick-up details with the vehicle owner so they can fulfil your rental.

With Service Providers

We engage trusted third-party providers for payment processing, cloud hosting, email delivery, and analytics. These partners are contractually bound to use your data only to deliver services on our behalf.

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information when required by a court order, government authority, or applicable Nepalese law, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of our users or the public.

Business Transfers

If Book Now Nepal merges with or is acquired by another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your information is subject to a materially different privacy policy.

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active, plus an additional period required by law or legitimate business need (typically 5 years for financial records). KYC documents are stored for the period mandated by Nepalese financial regulations and then securely deleted. You may request deletion of your account at any time — see Section 7.

We implement industry-standard safeguards including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest for sensitive data, access controls limited to authorised personnel, and regular security audits. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we are committed to protecting your information to the best of our ability.

You have the right to: access a copy of the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate or incomplete information; request deletion of your account and personal data (subject to legal retention obligations); object to or restrict certain processing; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent. Book Now Nepal is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by displaying a prominent notice on the platform. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
