What is KYC and why does it matter?
KYC (Know Your Customer) is the identity verification step every renter completes once before their first booking. It protects both you and the fleet partner — you're confirming you're a licenced driver, and the partner knows who is responsible for their vehicle.
The entire process takes under 5 minutes if your documents are ready.
What you'll need
- National ID card or passport (front and back)
- Valid driving licence (front and back)
- A clear selfie — no glasses, good lighting
Step-by-step
Once you've signed up and verified your email:
- Go to Profile → Verification
- Upload your ID (front, then back)
- Upload your driving licence (front, then back)
- Take the in-app selfie
- Submit — approval typically takes under 2 hours
Common mistakes
The most common rejection reason is blurry photos. Lay documents flat on a dark surface and photograph in natural light. Don't photograph your screen — use the physical document.
Expired licences are rejected automatically. Make sure yours is valid for the duration of your rental.
